Hello and welcome to the SCPR website. We have been providing plain English training and editing services to the public and private sectors since 1996. Our clients include local authorities, housing associations and government agencies.
Our editing services go way beyond the normal plain English revisions that you might expect to pay for. At no extra cost, we will check grammar and spelling and suggest other ways of saying something if we think it will make your document easier to understand. We also include a full proof reading service.
Our in-house training courses are so popular that many clients ask us to run extra courses for other members of staff. In response to clients' requests for online training, we also offer a web-based version of the course which offers great value for money.
We understand the complex needs and constraints faced by public sector organisations. We also appreciate that you have to provide excellent services at value for money prices. This is what we do best. Take a look around our site and see if you agree.
We can transform your letters, policy documents, reports and publicity into plain English so that your customers will be able to read and understand them.
Our costs are based on a standard rate, so you can work out exactly how much it will cost to have it proof read and edited by experts.
There are no hidden charges and we are confident that our rates, and the levels of service we provide, are highly competitive.
